Madrid named Kylian Mbappe to their Champions League lineup to face Lille on Wednesday, after missing one match due to a thigh injury. The French forward was anticipated to remain out until after the forthcoming international break, but he appears to have recovered quickly. Mbappe injured himself on Tuesday in a La Liga victory over Alaves and was ruled out of Sunday’s 1-1 derby match with Atletico Madrid. Mbappe was named to Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team on Monday for a trip to France to face Ligue 1 club Lille, where his brother Ethan plays. Thibaut Courtois, Los Blancos’ keeper, was left out of the squad after injuring his hip muscle against Atletico Madrid.
