Austin Reaves, the Los Angeles Lakers’ guard, was called out of Friday’s game against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers due to right calf pain after playing nine minutes in the first quarter. According to ESPN, Reaves will have an MRI on his calf on Saturday. Reaves finished with six points on two three-pointers before leaving. The Lakers had already lost forward Rui Hachimura due to a left knee issue. Reaves, 26, entered Friday with career-high averages of 19.2 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 51 games (all starts) this season.
Reaves, who went undrafted out of Oklahoma, entered Friday averaging 13.8 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 258 career games (149 starts) with Los Angeles over four seasons.
