How to Watch By Daniel Cody. Newsweek Updated February 10, 2025, 4:33 AM. On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles won their second Super Bowl by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The city is now preparing for another major celebration, with fans eagerly awaiting details on the team’s victory parade. While Philadelphia officials have yet to reveal the final arrangements, here’s what we know so far about the parade date, route, and how to witness the historical events

When Is the 2025 Eagles Parade?

As of now, Philadelphia has not announced a date for the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade. However, if the parade follows the same pattern as the 2018 championship festivities, the city may arrange it for Thursday, February 13–four days after the Eagles’ win. In 2018, the championship parade was held on a Thursday following the Eagles’ victory against the New England Patriots. However, weather conditions may affect this year’s timeframe. Forecasters expect snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, with rain possible Thursday morning, perhaps pushing the parade to Friday, February 14.

How To Watch the 2025 Eagles Parade

For those unable to attend in person, the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade will be televised live on NFL Network and streamed on NFL.com. Philadelphia’s local news channels are also anticipated to coverage of the event

What Is the 2025 Eagles Parade Route?

While final details are still waiting, the 2025 parade could take the same path as the 2018 celebration. The march started at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, near Lincoln Financial Field, and continued through downtown Philadelphia. It passed City Hall before arriving at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where a rally was held on the museum’s renowned steps. In 2018, approximately 1 million people lined the streets to celebrate the Eagles’ first Super Bowl victory. Given the team’s massive fan base, this year’s attendance could be comparable, if not greater.

2025 Eagles Parade Road Closures

Philadelphia officials have begun making preparations for the event. The city’s Office of Emergency Management has already announced road closures and traffic adjustments in key areas, including Center City, Northeast Philadelphia, and South Philadelphia. The Broad Street off-ramps from I-676, multiple streets near City Hall, and parts of South Philadelphia will be closed in anticipation of large crowds. Public safety officials are also making adjustments. Police officers, traffic control teams, and EMS units will be stationed along the expected parade route to ensure crowd safety, and the Philadelphia Fire Department will have emergency teams positioned throughout Center City

What Happens Next

The parade date and route have not yet been formally finalized, but the city of Philadelphia is expected to finalize and announce the arrangements in the coming days. Eagles fans should watch for official updates from the City of Philadelphia, Eagles social media platforms, and local news outlets as they become available.
