P / AFP) Real Madrid is reportedly considering Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong, according to a recent report from Defensa Central’s Real Madrid Exclusivo. It has emerged that Los Blancos intend to sign the star midfielder from the Catalan giants from the Netherlands in the upcoming season.

Due to an ankle ailment that kept him out of many games for Barca, De Jong endured a season marred by injuries at the Nou Camp. In 30 games for the Catalan team during the previous campaign in a variety of competitions, the Dutch star scored twice.
