ANKARA At least 58 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since Oct. 7 to 40,534, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Wednesday. According to a government statement, the ongoing assault has injured approximately 93,778 people. “Israeli forces killed 58 people and injured 131 others in four ‘massacres’ of families in the last 24 hours,” declared the ministry. “Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” according to the report.
