How to watch No. 15 Ole Miss vs. Memphis: First pitch, projected starters and streaming options

You may absolutely hate the idea of Ole Miss and Memphis playing each other because of how much there is to risk with a loss and what little there is to gain from a win. But here we are – Ole Miss versus Memphis in baseball once again, and the Rebels (18-5, 4-2 SEC) are in the hunt for a potential hosting bid for the NCAA Tournament if it can continue its winning ways. The Tigers (11-12, 0-3 AAC) are better than its record shows coming off an East Carolina sweep and some competitive non-conference opponents already in the books.

The Rebels are coming off a sweep of Missouri in Columbia for its first series win on the road against Mizzou since they joined the SEC and its first SEC sweep since 2022. Currently, Isaac Humphrey and Hayden Federico are both on 20-game on base streaks while Humphrey was most recently named SEC Player of the Week (4 HR, 13 RBI vs. Mizzou).

PROJECTED PITCHING MATCHUP Ole Miss: LHP Gunnar Dennis (1-1, 7.50 ERA) Memphis: RHP Caden Robinson (1-2, 6.88 ERA) Gunnar Dennis will be the starting pitcher for the Rebels on Tuesday with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. CT. Dennis struggled in an outing against Memphis last year only going 0.1 IP and giving up two runs, but he has shown he ability to go five innings against quality opponents in the past. On the other mound will be Caden Robinson for the Tigers who was the Sunday starter last season for Memphis. He compiled a 1-4 record with a 6.34 ERA in 2024 and posted quality starts against the likes of Jackson State, UAB and East Carolina. Robinson should be able to go 70-90 pitches if the game is not out of hand

The Chiefs-Chargers battle for AFC West control deserves a deep rewind

It should be some great weather out at Swayze Field come first pitch, or if you want to get out there early and throw some Johnsonville brats on the grill and have 12 American cold beers it’s a good plan for all. Cheers!
