Rory McIlroy makes incredible, slam dunk ace during Round 1 of AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Rory McIlroy found nothing but the bottom of the cup on Thursday’s short par-3 15th at Spyglass Hill, which is only 119 yards long.

He slam-dunked an ace since his tee shot did not contact any grass around the hole and landed in the hole on the fly. This is his second ace on the PGA Tour, following his first in the 2023 Travelers Championship. His previous hole-in-one occurred on the eighth hole of the opening round at TPC River Highlands.

McIlroy’s latest ace moved him into a tie for the lead at 3-under par during the first round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It’s the second Signature Event of the season, and McIlroy will make his PGA Tour debut in 2025. What a strong way to start the year.
