The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks will face battle in Game 6, with significant implications for both clubs. The Celtics will aim to extend the series to Game 7 as they continue their campaign without Jayson Tatum. The Knicks can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with a win at home, making it practically a must-win for them.
Except for Tatum, who is out after tearing his Achilles, everyone in the series has remained healthy. With Game 6 approaching, there is another player on the injury report besides Tatum, and he is with the Knicks.
The Knicks’ injury list includes Precious Achiuwa, who has a right ankle strain. He is labeled as uncertain, and whether or not he plays is unclear. Achiuwa hasn’t made much of a difference in the series for the Knicks, and
he appears to come in when Karl-Anthony Towns is in foul trouble, and he barely plays five or six minutes. Mitchell Robinson has been the Knicks’ genuine backup center, but it’s encouraging that Achiuwa is prepared when his number is called.
