Marcus Rashford has struggled for Manchester United, with fans and critics criticizing his recent performances. Troy Deeney believes Ruben Amorim may be tiring of the forward.
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may already be “fed up” with Marcus Rashford, according to Troy Deeney, who has criticised the Red Devils academy graduate. Rashford has had a terrible season for United, scoring only four goals in the Premier League, and Amorim has dropped him for the past two league games against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
The 27-year-old did score twice in a 4-0 victory over Everton earlier this month. However, the forward has battled for form over the last 18 months, and Manchester United are reportedly considering selling him.
Deeney singled out Rashford ahead of the Manchester derby this weekend, and he believes the forward is already trying Amorim’s patience after failing to impress in his previous three appearances.
In his piece for The Sun, the former Watford striker said: “Marcus Rashford appears to be carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. It’s always someone else’s fault, and his application stinks. “He is still capable of moments, though. It wouldn’t surprise me if he scores the winning goal against Manchester City this weekend and then goes AWOL for a few weeks. We witnessed that on Thursday night, when he was substituted against Viktoria Plzen, and United manager Ruben Amorim is already frustrated with him.
Sky has reduced the cost of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV, and Netflix package in an unmatched new deal that includes 1,400 live matches from the Premier League, EFL, and more.
