Russia launched a major drone and missile attack on Ukraine on Sunday, which officials described as the largest in months, targeting energy facilities and killing civilians. The strike occurred as concerns grew about Moscow’s plans to decimate Ukraine’s power producing capability ahead of the severe winter.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia launched 120 missiles and 90 drones in a large-scale attack against Ukraine. He added a variety of drones were deployed, including Iranian-made Shaheds, as well as cruise, ballistic, and aircraft-launched ballistic missiles.
