A 17-year-old is facing stunt and reckless driving charges after allegedly exceeding the speed limit on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario. Ontario Provincial Police said the teen was captured driving 201 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. Police say the incident occurred Friday evening on Highway 401 westbound in Gananoque, nearly 300 kilometres east of Toronto.

They claim the G2 licence holder was also caught making hazardous lane changes on Canada’s busiest roadway. According to the OPP, the driver exceeded the posted speed limit of 30 km/h on an exit ramp. Police shared a photo on X showing the driver’s red vehicle being confiscated.
