Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns have dropped to 25-25 after three consecutive losses. On Friday, they will aim to turn things around with the Utah Jazz coming to town. Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal have been a disappointing trio over the last two seasons, owing in large part to injuries. Phoenix traded some of its stars before Thursday’s trade deadline, but the trio is staying put. The Suns did, however, trade center Jusuf Nurkic to the Charlotte Hornets, ridding themselves of his big contract.
Durant has been dealing with a left ankle sprain that kept him out for Wednesday’s loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder. But Phoenix will be without their superstar once again, as the two-time NBA champion has also been ruled out against the Jazz.
Durant isn’t the only star the Suns will be missing on Friday night, as Bradley Beal has been ruled out as well due to a toe issue.
